A Rest Day? But We Haven't Walked Anywhere...Yet

I am so very thankful that we booked two nights in the Monastery to rest up after our flight...and before we start the Camino.

Our first night was in the hostel below, in a room full of about 50 'peregrinos', and only 10 Euros each.

We did get a bit lost today...thank goodness it wasn't a Camino walking day.

But to be honest....I always think you see things you would have missed had you not gotten lost.

Finally found our way back to civilization....just in time for lunch.

Tonight we will return to this restaurant for the 9 Euro, 3 course Pilgrim dinner.

Finished off our sightseeing in the cute town of Sarria with a French Omelette.

Funny how everything looks just a bit different in Europe.
